Razer Naga Trinity vs Logitech G600 | Mouse Comparison

On this page I’ll be reviewing and comparing the Razer Naga Trinity vs the Logitech G600. Both of these mice are designed specifically for MMO games like World of Warcraft. MMO games require more keybinds and macros than any other genre, these mice can help with this. Each mouse has 12+ extra buttons which you can re-bind to whatever you like. Razer and Logitech make amazing gaming mice and it will be tough choosing between the Naga Trinity and the G600.

Hopefully this page helps you decide which of these mice is best suited for you!

Mouse review: Razer Naga Trinity

In my eyes, the Razer Naga is the original MMO gaming mouse. Razer have now made the Razer Naga Trinity, a new and improved version of the original Naga. The Razer Naga Trinity is possibly the most dynamic gaming mouse currently on the market. It’s suitable for all types of games thanks to the interchangeable side panels. I think it’s best suited for MMO gaming due to the size, shape and side buttons.

Interchangeable side panels

The main feature of the Razer Naga Trinity is the interchangeable side panels. The mouse comes with three side button layouts, one with 2 buttons, one with 7 buttons and one with 12. Razer are not the first company to use this feature, but I personally think they have done the best job at executing it. Not all games require the same amount of side buttons and the Naga Trinity solves this problem. For MMO games you could use the 12 button panel, for FPS games you might want to switch to the 2 button panel. The 7 button panel could be great for both MMO and MOBA games.

The panels are extremely easy to remove and place onto the mouse. They are attached to the mouse with magnets making it super easy to pop them on and off. Every button uses the award-winning Razer mechanical switches. They provide a satisfying tactile and audible feedback assuring you of every action. I have been using the older Razer Naga for years and the side buttons are still working great to this day.

Shape and design

The Razer Naga Trinity has an ergonomic shape with a right-handed form factor. It’s a very comfortable mouse best suited for a palm grip style. The right side of the mouse has a comfort slope for you to rest your ring finger on. It’s a medium-sized mouse but is pretty heavy weighing 120 grams. MMO mice are often on the heavy side as they are designed for long gaming sessions rather than quick mouse lifting action. Overall this is a comfy mouse making it perfect for long MMO grinds.

Like a lot of gaming mice, the Naga Trinity has an all-black design with RGB lighting. There is full RGB backlighting in three locations: the side buttons, the scroll wheel, and the Razer logo. You can personalize all of the lighting settings using the Razer Synapse software.

Mouse sensor

You won’t have to worry about any sensor issues thanks to Razer’s 5G optical sensor. It has a max DPI of 16,000 which can be adjusted in steps of 50. There are two DPI buttons below the scroll wheel allowing you to tune your DPI on the fly. It’s optimized for precision and speed ensuring your movements are swift and accurate.

Software

You can customize all of the mouse settings using the Razer Synapse software. This is where you will change the lighting, macros and DPI profiles. The software is pretty simple to use at a base level, there are a few advanced options if you’re into that. All of your profiles are stored on-board the mouse itself making it plug and play after the first setup. You can also save your profiles in cloud storage which is pretty cool.

Mouse review: Logitech G600

Logitech make some of the best gaming mice and their gaming peripherals are extremely popular. Most of their mice are designed for FPS gaming but they also have a few MMO mice, the most popular being the G600. The Logitech G600 is a medium-sized mouse with 12 side buttons designed for MMO gamers. It has a few unique features including RGB lighting and third mouse click button also known as the G-SHIFT.

Side buttons & The G-SHIFT button

There are 12 side buttons on the left side of the mouse. 12 side buttons seems to be the limit before things get too hectic. The 2nd and 3rd row of buttons are slightly angled in opposite directions, this is done to help you get familiar with the layout faster. The actuation force of the side buttons has been finely tuned to minimize misclicks. Having 12 side buttons can really help you keep up with all of the keybinds MMO games require.

Logitech G600 Third mouse click button - G-SHIFT

The G-SHIFT button is the most unique feature on this mouse. There is a third primary click button that Logitech calls the G-SHIFT button. In its default setting the G-SHIFT button acts as a modifier, this essentially doubles the number of buttons on the mouse. If you play a lot of MMO games then you should be familiar with modifiers, this is a super cool feature from Logitech.

Shape and design

The Logitech G600 has a great shape perfect for long MMO gaming sessions. It’s a medium-sized mouse very similar to the Naga Trinity. The shape is best suited for a palm grip style and the G-SHIFT button acts as a nice rest for your ring finger. It’s quite a heavy mouse weighing just over 130 grams, It’s normal for MMO mice to be on the heavy side.

The G600 has a simple all-black design with a grey Logitech logo on the bottom half of the shell. All 12 side buttons have full RGB backlighting which can be customized in the G HUB software. You can set unique lighting styles for each of your mouse profiles which is pretty cool. I’m a big fan of the G600 design, some mice go over the top with the lighting but Logitech have found a nice balance.

Mouse sensor

The G600 is equipped with a gaming-grade sensor that will deliver precision at all speeds. It’s able to track mouse movement across a wide range of surfaces and register the most subtle movements. It has a maximum DPI of 8200 which can be set as low as 250. You can use the DPI buttons below the scroll wheel to cycle through your DPI profiles. Use the Logitech G HUB to customize and set all of your DPI profiles.

Software

To get the most out of the G600 you should download the Logitech G HUB software. You can use this software to adjust all of the important mouse settings like the DPI and RGB lighting profiles. You can set up to three mouse profiles and save them on-board the mouse itself, wherever you take your G600 your profile settings will go too. The Logitech G HUB software is easy to use and is probably my favorite mouse software.

Razer Naga Trinity vs Logitech G600

These are two of the best MMO gaming mice currently on the market. Both of these mice will make MMO games a lot more enjoyable to play. Which mouse you prefer will come down to the price, shape, design, and functionality. Neither of these mice are necessarily better than the other and either mouse would be a great choice.
